This blog came out of my experiences. For the last 8 years I have thought about opening up to the world and for whatever reason I never got it done. I’ve documented 90% of my travels and experiences so now I’m excited to share them and give you all travel and lifestyle hacks so you can live your best life on your current budget.
Just so we can be more acquainted let me fill you in on my background a little. I am a 1st Generation Sierra Leonean that has done everything I was told to do by society. I went to college on a full athletic scholarship, attained a prestigious internship with the Indianapolis Colts and then started my professional career with the National Football League. After a short 8 months I realized that corporate America wasn’t for me and I moved to Detroit to work for a professional athlete. From there I started my own marketing and PR Firm for athletes. Running that for years, I realized that I had other passions. I became an advocate for health/wellness, women’s empowerment, travel, and entrepreneurship. Most of these passions were birthed around the same time that I donated my kidney to my brother. A couple of months before surgery I joined the number one travel club in the world. Through my travels and personal growth I have become an international speaker and mentor. The crazy thing is that neither one of those were goals as I joined the club but God has a funny way of making sure you get what you need and deserve.
